Massena - Letha G. Laggue, 93 passed away Thursday evening January 27, 2011 at the Highland Nursing Home. There will be no calling hours; arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Graveside services will be held at Hopkinton-Ft. Jackson Cemetery in the spring. Letha was born in Hopkinton on February 16, 1917, daughter of the late William H. and Grace L. Coon Jenne. She attended Hopkinton Schools. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Laggue, together they operated a dairy farm from 1943-1978 in Hopkinton. She is survived by two daughters, Leona G. Rivenburg of Florida and Lorraine Mossow of Norfolk and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, Leonard Jenne and one sister, Velma Witherell. Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley, Inc., 6805 US Hwy 11, Potsdam, NY 13676.
