St. Regis Falls – Theodore M. “Pops” James, 77, passed away unexpectedly April 3, 2011 at AMC in Saranac Lake. Friends may call at the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls, Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm. Born on March 27, 1934, he is the son of the late Alfred and Eleanor Higginbottom James. He was married to Margaret Mary Duffy for 50 years. For 40 years, Pops worked at Richardson’s Mints in Philadelphia as a machine operator. He was a member of the Bakers and Confectioners Union and Fishermen of America. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret; their children, Carolyn, Patricia, Margaret and Matthew; grandchildren, RyannLee, Shanara, Theodore, Daniel, Curtis, Neeltje, and Olliea; great grandchildren, Brandon, Selyna, Alliseya, Ashyn and Marissa; and two sisters.
