Our heartfelt condolences to the DeShane Family...
While we can't say we know the depth of your pain, nor do we understand why so much loss has been heaped on your family, what we do know is where Duck found the strength and courage to wage his battle. From his parents, Don and Doris, who have endured the loss of their daughter and now their firstborn son with dignity and grace. From his caring and devoted wife, Debbie, who has been by his side her entire adult life, and who gave him two daughters. From his strong, intelligent and beautiful daughters, Dawn and Darcy, whose love, support, and devotion must have made him feel that his fight was a worthy one. And finally, those beautiful grandchildren, born and still to be born...How they must have made it seem all worthwhile!!! It is through them that Duck's legacy will live on.
Please know that Duck will be missed by many for a very long time and that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
With sincere concern and sympathy,
Debbie Prevost and Family

How Ironic, that when you are finally out of pain your family can feel nothing else... You fought a long, hard battle, and sometimes I don't know where you got your strength. I know that you are enjoying paradise in a never ending field trial with your favorite dogs by your side....
