Massena- Mrs. Helen I. Runions, 88, passed away peacefully, Sun. Sept. 9, 2012 at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Helen was born on April 13, 1924 in Louisville to the late Anson and Della (Myers) Weegar. She was raised and educated locally, attending the Louisville High School. She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by: her first husband, Donald Runions, her brothers: Allen "Joe", Donald, and John L. Weegar and her sisters: Jennie Taillon, and Mae Sweet. A graveside service will be celebrated Thursday, September 13th at 10am at the Louisville Community Cemetery with Pastor Lee Sweeney officiating.
