Dear Russell and Family,
I just heard of Kathy's passing from my sister Barb Sutton. I haven't seen Kathy in years but have very fond memories of her. We went to my family in Canada together one summer. We had such a good time and were good friends. She was one of those people that everyone loved. I don't think I ever heard anyone say a bad thing about Kathy. She was just a sweet girl. I'm so sorry for your loss. Warmest Regards. Liz

Family and friends of Kathy, As Kathy's cousin, even my earliest memories of her when our families would visit, are fond.Even as a child I remember thinking she was special. As the years went by I would see her from time to time, and that memory from childhood was reafirmed. In the last maybe 10 years I've seen Kathy twice and had the opportunity to meet her husband Russ, also a fine person. And in these last several years we would communicate more than before at Christmas and through a few emails from time to time and more and more I realized she was just plane special. For family and friends, I feel your loss, and hope that your memories of her will always console you. I'm sure she's in a better place. Doug Rowe

I’ve nothing but fond memories of Kathy, few as they are. Most are from my 2003 visit where she and I spent time hiking with our dogs and taking out a canoe, plus the time spent with you at your home with its sugar shack and swell fire pit where we had some good chats. Kathy was hospitable, open, curious about me and my journey, fun and kind. Those memories will be a big part of her legacy for me. The history she wrote about our family is the rest. It’s been given to various relatives out west, here, and will help keep our ties to each other and to you all the more strong. Be well.
