Chase Mills-Gail K. Jenkins, 62, passed away peacefully at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital with her husband Harold J. Jenkins by her side. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Gail was born in Potsdam on March 28, 1952 to the late Elton and Maude (Jandreau) Jones. She was raised and educated locally, graduating from St. Lawrence Central high school. On September 30, 1977 Gail married Harold J. Jenkins in the town of Stockholm. They shared a special bond that brought them 37 years of happiness. Gail worked for St. Lawrence Boces for 30 years. She spent time in various secretarial offices, including working for the principle and transferring with her to the main office in Canton before she retired earlier this month. She is survived by her loving husband Harold J. Jenkins as well as daughter Terrie Lee and three grandchildren; Neil Cassada, Victoria Artale, and Mia Artale. Also surviving are her three bothers Larry, Allan and Carey Jones. In accordance with Gail's wishes there will be no services. For those wishing to express an act of kindness, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Heart Association or charity of your choice.
