Dickinson Center - M. Thomas Bimble, 85, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Thomas was born on December 7, 1929 in Plainfield, NJ, son of the late Lewis W. and Naomi (DuMont) Bimble. After graduating from North Plainfield High School, he proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. On January 20, 1951, he married Catherine McConville at Holy Cross Church in Harrison, NJ with Rev. William L. Lynch celebrating. They shared over 64 years together, blessed with a loving and supportive union, devoted to their family. Thomas was a mason, working with the Bricklayers Union in NJ. In 1990 with his wife, they moved to Dickinson Center to enjoy the Adirondacks. He liked to be outdoors, hunting, fishing and feeding the fish in his pond. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bernardsville, NJ, the St. Regis Falls Sportsman's Club and the St. Regis Falls Adult Center. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, four children; Peggy and Paul Perrochino of Readington, NJ, Ellen Chowansky of Bridgewater, NJ, Lewis and Ruriko Bimble of Bloomsbury, NJ and Jennifer and Gregg Williford of Whitehouse Station, NJ, eight grandchildren; Berly Teele, Frank Kopp, Shawn MacMillan, Tommy Bimble, T. Patrick Conboy, Natalie Williford, Christopher Bimble and Shelby Williford, two great grandchildren, Madeleine Teele and Harrison Teele. Always in his heart is the memory of his daughter, Karen MacMillan who passed away in 2004 and his sister, Margaret Jackson. Following his wishes there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
