Brasher Falls - Gary W. Deshane, 69, passed away unexpectedly at CVPH in Plattsburgh. Following Gary's wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Gary was born on August 29, 1946 in Malone, son of the late Delbert and Marion (Ellsworth) Deshane. He married Rose Mitchell on April 24, 1965 at St. Patrick Church in Hogansburg. Gary was a good husband and father, always caring about his family's wellbeing and loved spending time with them. He is survived by his wife, Rose; five children; Tammy McGee and companion, Jeffrey Girard of Massena, Daniel Deshane and companion, Laura Meldrum of Massena, Richard Deshane and Bobby Jo Ling of Winthrop, Rodney and Lou Ann Deshane of Brasher Falls and Ricky Deshane of Brasher Falls, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, his sisters; Darlene Murray of Hogansburg, Rhonda Perrin of Massena, Patsy Henderson of Brasher, Kaylene Villnave of Massena and Valerie Snyder of Massena, his brothers; Ronald of Brasher, Terry of Massena, Thomas of Brasher and Elvis of Massena. He was predeceased by 6 siblings Joan Deshane, Mary Deshane, Sally Deshane, Bruce Deshane, Janet LaPrad and Joyce Ward. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.hammillfh.com.
