West Bangor - William C. Lucey, 63, passed away December 29, 2016 at UVMC in Burlington, VT. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. William was born on November 18, 1953 in Saranac Lake, son of the late Thomas L. and Anna (Hill) Lucey. He graduated from Brushton-Moira High School in 1973. He worked for the Town of Reynoldston and then went on his own, doing odd jobs, mowing and gardening. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and planting his own garden. Surviving William are three children, Thomas, Jonathan and Sasha Lucey-Doughty all of Maine, five grandchildren, eight siblings, Dorothy King of W. Bangor, Jane and Alton LaPage of Moira, Leona and Malcolm Wheeler of Dickinson Center, Donna Prue of Moira, Thomas Lucey of Bangor, Jim and Barb Lucey of W. Bangor, Danny and Marcey Lucey of St. Regis Falls and Dick and Lorna Lucey of St. Regis Falls. There will be no calling hours; William's Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11 am at St. Augustine Church in North Bangor. Burial in West Bangor Cemetery will be in the spring.
