Massena, NY / Venice, FL- Lillian E. Lapensee (LaFave) Grow, 92, left this life on April 26, 2017 surrounded by family. Lillian was born to Euclide and Irene Lapensee in Cornwall, Ontario on February 21, 1925. She was predeceased by her husband George LaFave (7/19/62) and husband Bernard Grow (7/23/1990). She is survived by her children and stepchildren; Connie (Jim) West, Janet (Bob) Dyer, Kate McCormick, Joe LaFave, Sandra LaFave (Dave Danielson), Mary Grow (fiancé Joe Romeo), Margie (Denny) Avery, Judy (John) Ploof, Nan (Kim) Griffith, Dan (Barbie)Grow, sisters; Doris Lapensee, Estelle Brydges and Norma (Tony) Oliver and brother; Bernie (Edith) Lapensee. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her stepson, Karl Grow, son-in-law, Grant J. Munsey, son-in law, William McCormick, daughter-in-law, Diana LaFave, brother, Reginald Lapensee, sister, Verna McIntosh and brother-in-law, Jim Brydges. Lillian's Memorial Mass will be Saturday, June 17th at 12:00 pm at St. Patrick Church in Brasher Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Lillian's name.
