Obituary of Irene M. Fayette

Winthrop - Irene M. Fayette, 89, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 7, 2010 at her home in Russell. Irene was born on June 13, 1921 in Massena, daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Revier Clemmo and attended Massena schools. On September 12, 1942, she married Carlton F. Fayette in Massena. Mr. Fayette passed away January 26, 1982. Mrs. Fayette enjoyed square dancing with the Seaway Squares, sewing and quilting. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Marshall and Merideth Fayette of Leesburg, FL, Larry and Catherine Fayette of Norfolk and Charlene and Russell Perry of Norfolk; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Florence White of Norfolk; one sister in law, Velma Kingsley of Lowville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Roy and four sisters, Stella, Beatrice, Genevieve and Joyce. Friends may call at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, Wednesday from 12 to 2 pm. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home at 2 pm with burial to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Brasher Falls.
