Brasher Falls - Keith A. LaShomb, 64, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, August 15, 2010. He was born on December 30, 1945 in Massena, son of the late Albert Leroy and Marjorie (Otis) LaShomb and graduated from St. Lawrence Central School. He married Sandra Davis in Massena on April 29, 1965, the marriage ended in divorce. Keith worked at Crucible Steel in Syracuse then came back home and worked at ALCOA in Massena for 36 years. When he retired in 2002 he was working in the testing lab. Keith cherished time spent with his family, such as family dinners, 4-wheeling and time at the picnic table. He was a member of the Tri Town Trailblazers, a hunter, and enjoyed the open road on his "Spider." He is survived by his four children, Lisa and her husband, Kevin Kersey of Queensbury, Brian LaShomb of Ogdensburg, Lyn LaShomb of Port Henry and Erica LaShomb of Plattsburg; three grandchildren, Desiree' Kersey, Konner Kersey and Amber LaShomb; one brother, Vernon LaShomb of Central Square and one sister, Marilyn LaShomb. His sister, Gloria, predeceased him. As per Keith's wishes, there will be no public services; arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Those wishing to do so, please consider donations in his honor to the Brasher - Winthrop Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 11, Winthrop, NY 13697. Notice for paper: Keith A. LaShomb, 64, died Aug. 15, 2010 at his home in Brasher Falls. As per his wishes, there will be no public services; arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
