Obituary of Richard H. Peters, Sr.
Nicholville – Richard H. Peters, Sr., 66, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at Canton Potsdam Hospital.
Richard was born in Canton, son of Leslie and Florence (Strader) Peters. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. He worked in the meat department at Save A Lot in Potsdam.
He is survived by his children; Richard Peters II, Bobbi Sue Peters, Candi Michelle Watts and Jeff Foster, stepchildren; John Oney, Eve Gilbo, Donna Payne, Donald Oney, Jr., Tina Burdick, Tracy Pitts, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside military honors will be held Friday at 1 pm at Bayside Cemetery in Potsdam. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, where memories and condolences can be shared at www.hammillfh.com.
