Obituary of Joseph E. Young
Parishville- Mr. Joseph E. Young, 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday September 2, 2019 at his home on White Hill Road; his favorite place to be.
Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop and in keeping with Joe’s wishes there will be no calling hours.
He is survived by his longtime companion of 22 years, Dana Wakefield of Potsdam; daughter April Young and her companion Scott Lovely of Ogdensburg; son Sean Young of Ogdensburg; grandson Ian Lovely; siblings: Vonda Preston of Watertown, Robin Gaines of Watertown, Lisa Hevener of Heuvelton, Sidney Belile of Massena, Clarence Belile of Piedmont, SC., and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Aleta Belile and Mitchell Belile; who was like a father to him, and grandparents Elon and Ida Young.
Joe’s longtime companion Dana Wakefield will be having a Celebration of Life at the Cedar Lodge on 2145 White Hill Road, Sunday, September 22nd from noon until ?. There will be live music, food and lots of good memories.
