Obituary of Melinda J. Dechambo

Lawrence – Ms. Melinda J. Dechambo, 50, passed away at her home on Sunday September 19th, 2021, and arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop where Melinda’s family will receive visitors from 4 – 6 PM on Tuesday October 5th. Melinda was born in Albany on January 1, 1971, to Arthur and Doris (Roberts) Dechambo and attended Ravena – Selkirk Central School. Melinda was a caretaker working in home health and caring for those in need. She enjoyed camping, anything outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. Melinda is survived by her three daughters Jessica Dechambo, Samantha Sirles (Michael Snyder), Joyce Sirles, and their father, Robert “Bob” Sirles and his wife Patty; April Sirles, who was like a daughter; grandchildren, Haley, Bryan, Larissa, Michael Jr., Hunner, Parker, and Ethan; boyfriend, William Brennan; 2 sisters, Dale and Donna Dechambo; nephews, Perry ‘PJ’ Haight and Billy Farrell; and a nice, Stephanie Dechambo.
