I am Bobby's cousin - his mother and mine were sisters - and I will remember fondly spending much of my young years with his family. We only had sporadic contact in later years but he made a person feel that he was so just so pleased to see or hear from you. A very special person. Judy Harwood Havill

A memory I’ve always carried of my classmate, was the time we spent as lab partners in 10th grade Biology class at SLC.
Surprising what I learned about Bob’s nature , working side by side with him dissecting worms , frogs and starfish. That sounds a bit strange I know. But I found a most unpretentious, warm, kind person with a true sense of humor. I got to know him there after seeing his great abilities in sports and I felt I was in the presence of greatness. I believe I was.
To his family , please accept my sincere condolences. Bob’s mom was my very 1st school teacher, at the American Legion Hall.

Bobby lived next door to me most of my childhood. He was always so nice, so friendly and handsome. He was always stopping by visiting my mom and dad and after he moved always came back to visit them. When mom and dad died Bobby was one of the first to call me. A sweet man!

Mr. Hall was my math teacher in the early 90s. He made math fun (as fun as it can be, at least) and I always rolled my eyes at (but secretly loved) his terrible jokes. Some of my favorites were when he wore a shirt with foliage on it and would always joke, "Leaf me alone" and "Gee, I'm a tree (geometry)!). He was a great teacher and I'm sure the community will feel his loss. My thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

Mr Hall was a wonderful teacher. One of my best memories was when I gave him a hot pink yard stick with the numbers all mixed up and a riddle he had to unscramble. I gave him the answer to the riddle just a few years ago. He helped me and made my time not only in his math class but in school in general a great time! I always loved seeing him and joking with him!

Unfortunately, I never had Mr. Hall as a teacher, since I believe I graduated the year before he began his teaching career at PHCS. I was able to make a connection with him as I was able to substitute teach at PHCS while attending college at Potsdam State. On a number of occasions I would ask for guidance from him and other teachers. He graciously offered his opinions and suggestions, but always in a manner that made it seem like I had come up with the answers- a sign of a great teacher and mentor. I believe we were able to make a connection because he recognized I was beginning my career in education, just like he was. His guidance and friendship are something that I will always remember. Like others,I remember being totally mesmerized by his stories and recollections of his promising baseball career. His storytelling skills were superb and his recollections were never done in a bragging or superior-than-thou tone. He was humble. His golfing prowess was well known and those stories were equally as entertaining. Based on the remembrances of his former students, Mr Hall had a tremendous and lasting influence on his students. Rest In Peace, Mr. Hall. NY Yankee Nation and PHCS Nation are greatly saddened by your too early passing.

To The Family of Mr. Hall, I had Mr. Hall as my math teacher at Parishville-Hopkinton Central School many years ago. He was a great math teacher and will be missed by all of us who had the privilege of having him as their teacher. One memory of Mr. Hall was when I had to ride the 3:10 PM bus home. When Mr. Hall called Mrs. Richardson to sign me up for the bus, he always told her that he didn't know why I needed to ride the bus home when I was a Walker!! My maiden name was Walker. What a jokester!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. RIP- Mr. Hall Gone But Not Forgotten

Condolences to his family. Mr.Hall as we all know him by, will be missed greatly. He was my math teacher so I could never get used to calling him Bob .I have cut Mr.Halls hair for the past several years .I always enjoyed our visits. He was such an intelligent and interesting man. His was the class that Everyone wanted to be in because he made math fun. He was a little upset with me that I got a problem wrong on the Algebra regents. I multiplied 3x2 and got 5. May he Rest In Peace .

Mr. Hall was very influential in me becoming a math teacher. His love for students was evident in all he did. My favorite memories are when he would bounce the tennis balls off the walls and ask us for the type of angles they were. He also challenged us to learn to juggle, which I never mastered. He always asked about our softball games and always showed he cared. Thank you Mr. Hall, may you Rest In Peace.

Bob was truly one of a kind. I played golf with Bob almost everyday in summer for nearly 20 years along with Dick Barlow and Charlie Clark. He was a great competitor, excellent golfer and fun to be with. He encouraged us to explore Hilton Head and we enjoyed wintering there with him for many years. His devotion to Catholic church, his family and friends was something very special. Bob you'll be missed! Doc & Jackie Pinover
