Obituary of Frances F. Delacruz

Frances “Franny” F. Delacruz, 83, of Brasher Falls, went home to God on Friday, March 11th, 2022, with loving friends by her side. She married the late Jose A. Delacruz on July 7th 1980, in Springfield Massachusetts, and the two spent many years together. Franny was a devout Christian, and a prayer warrior. She attended Life in His Arms Community Church in North Lawrence. She was also a member of many Christian Associations, including The Spiritual Association of Our Lady of Victory, Marian Helper’s Circle of Light, and Sacred Heart Auto League, earning her the title of Sister Ann Marie Francis. Franny not only worshiped her God in church, but in all aspects of her life. She was a frequent donor and listener of The Mars Hill Network, a Christian radio station, on 90.1. A passionate collector, Franny had a unique personality that will never be forgotten. Though faced with the struggle of mental illness, there was no shortage of love in her heart. She blessed everyone with whatever she could. If you did her a favor, Franny would find some way to pay you back, in whatever ways she could. Her smile will be missed by many good friends and neighbors. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 26th at 1:00 pm at Life in His Arms Community Church. A luncheon will follow the service. Franny and Jose will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lawrence at a future date.
