Obituary of Barbara A. LaFave

Brasher Falls – Barbara A. LaFave, 79, passed away at her home on Wednesday May 4, 2022. Following her wishes there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. A graveside service will be held at Carville Cemetery in Helena on June 10th at 2 pm. Barbara was born in South Bombay on March 20, 1943, daughter of the late Arlington and Margaret (Steenberg) Rockhill. She married Kenneth C. LaFave on September 23, 1961, in Moira. Ken passed away on June 26, 2021. She dedicated her life to raising a family and providing them a loving home. Barbara found crocheting a relaxing activity, making sure her family had personal treasures of her skill. She is survived by two daughters, Laurie and Henry Dufrane and Jane LaFave, all of Brasher Falls, three brothers, Robert Rockhill, William and Diana Rockhill, Richard Rockhill and Allison, her husband's sisters, many nieces and nephews.
