Obituary of Mary L. Coffey

Mary Louise Law (Corbett) Coffey passed away on Saturday, May 28th 2022. She was born April 29th, 1940 to Elsie Morrell Law and Forest Law who have predeceased her. Mary was the youngest child of Elsie and Forest's, but had many sisters (step) and brothers (step) from previous marriages. And, many more cousins, nieces and nephews who were like sisters and brothers to her. She was born and raised in and around Colton, NY. She attended Colton School most of the time, but was unable to complete and had quit during her eighth grade year. She Married the late William E. Corbett in 1969. On May 10, 1970 she gave birth to Kimberly Ann Corbett Disorda of Brandon Vermont. Her second daughter, Mary L. Corbett Coffey Huckle of Brasher Falls was born on March 17 1976. The marriage ended in divorce in March 1978. On April 22, 1978 she married Freeman G Coffey of Pyrites. Her youngest child Liza Jane Coffey of Chilhowie, VA, was born March 24 1982. Freeman predeceased her in January 1998. Mary has a few grandchildren; Scott L., Scott R., Jack and Nathan Walker, born to Kimberly. Tyler and Dylan Huckle born to her second daughter, Mary and her husband Scott. And, Sincerity Hope Coffey, born to Liza Jane. Mary also has two great-grandchildren, Hailie Marie and Liam James Huckle. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
