Please share a memory of Cynthia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Cynthia St. Louis, 67
She liked to be called Cindi. 6/28/1955-9/21/2022.

Parents, Robert P. St. Louis & Martha Duranceau, Massena, N.Y. Cindi was diagnosed in January 2022, with 4th stage small cell lung cancer. She fought hard but sadly 8 months was all she had in her. She’s known by “The purple haired Lady” in Massena. She walked everywhere!

Cindi left Massena for Los Osos, California & married Dennis Mulligan & adopted twins, April Pineda & Leana Kennedy & then took in their younger sister Destiny Mulligan. They still reside in California. Cindi’s favorite jobs were running a small hotel, The Twin Dolphin Inn in Morro, California, her own cleaning company in/around Los Osos, & Kmart also in California. Cindi’s children were grown & when she separated from her Husband she moved back to Massena, NY where she spent the remainder of her life.

Cindi was kind, loving & free spirited & would help anyone. Her infectious smile would turn anyone’s frown upside down! Her hobbies included billiard pool, walking, singing, photography, writing poetry & drawing. She was a huge lover of nature & animals. She would spend time hiking, sitting quietly in the woods or next to a river & talk to the animals & pray. She even rescued a cat on one of her adventures in the woods with her friend, Lori decided to name him “Lucky Stripes” as he had stripes. She also loved reading scripture & spent a lot of time studying online about different religion, especially Christian Theology, she recently became an Ordained Minister right before being diagnosed with cancer.

Cindi is Predeceased by Christmas & Spirit (her birds) & Jayden (emotional support dog who came from Rachel, her house mate), both parents, friends & family.

She is Survived by her cat Lucky Stripes, Adopted Twins April Pineda & Leana Kennedy & Destiny Mulligan, cousins Carol St. Louis, Kimberly St. Louis, twins Daren & Deven Hubbard & Chelsey Hubbard, Christopher Monacelli, Mark & Jayme Monacelli & their daughters, Paige, Abbie, & Julia Monacelli, Sue St. Louis, & Cody White, whom was a 20+ year friend, whom Cindi referred to him as her cousin.

She is also Survived by her two closest friends, Rachel LaShomb, whom was her housemate for 3 years prior to her death & Lori Hughes-Morrissette, her very close friend & “sis”. Rachel, Cody & Lori were by her side at CPH on her last day before going home to the Lord above.

Cindi will be cremated in care of Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop, NY, where Rachel grew up & knew Cindi would be well taken care of. There will be no wake or funeral services per Cindi’s final wishes.

A celebration of life party will be held in November at her last known address in Massena with Rachel.
