My Mom never had a lot, but what she had she would give you if you needed it. You had to be careful, because if you told her you liked something she would try to give it to you. She was very GENEROUS with what she had and she was full of LOVE and KINDNESS. My Mom got covid in 2020 and her life was never the same. She ended up in a nursing home where she wasn't very happy because she liked her INDEPENDENCE. She was on oxygen all the time, she could hardly walk around without losing her breath. My Mom was a FIGHTER though, as many times as she went to the hospital, she had covid, pneumonia, and emphysema, and she always made it through. She always said to me "I'm not ready to go yet, I'm going to live to be 100". So I was shocked when Missy called and said my Mom wanted to say goodbye. My Mom was a FIGHTER, she never gave up, so my heart broke for her, I knew she must of been in a lot of pain and discomfort. I know she's in a better place now, and she's looking down at all of us. I feel her presence everyday. She always made me feel so special, but she was the SPECIAL ONE. I didn't get to see her much, but I called her, and when I did she was ALWAYS KIND no matter how she felt, she was never grumpy to me. I helped her all I could, I hope I did enough. I know you loved me Mom, and I hope you always knew I loved you. You will always be in my heart, and I will always be a part of you. The last time I seen my Mom I made the trip alone. I was really nervous, but I'm glad I made the trip.
