We always remember her baking and cooking - great Christmas Cookies , picnic foods, and special dinners- on our anniversary buy us a ice cream cake from Dairy Queen! We will miss Carolyn very much- always will be in our hearts and minds. Love you -your brother Roger and Cindy

Mom, I will forever love you. You were and will always be my very best friend. You always made it clear to me that no one would ever come between what we shared and no one will ever be as close to a mother and her daughter/son. I treasure every moment I shared with you. We had many. I've learned about love, sacrifice, giving, forgiving,patience, discipline, and obedience. All about the Bible and our good Lord, and how to pray. I know you're walking on streets paved of gold and I'm sure you have that glow about you now that you're with our Heavenly Father. Glowing like Moses did. A few days ago you thanked me for loving you the way I did. I thank you for loving all of us the way you did. You are truly A Saint Of The Most High. God has blessed me with a true servant of The Most High. I will forever miss you until the day I'm reunited with you in Heaven. I LOVE YOU MOM. LOVE, LORI

My mom once told me a story about how she learned to give the absolute best she had. My Gramma Pearl took my mom dress shopping one day and purchased 5 dresses for my mom. The next day she told my mom about a family that didn't have money for Christmas and to go pick out two dresses and bring them to my Gramma. Mom brought them to my Gramma. Next Gramma said now Carolyn I want you to go pick out the two most favorite dresses and bring them to me. My mom felt a bit sad about having to pick out her two most favorite out of the five, and now she was left with just one dress for herself. Mom returned to My Gramma with her two favorite dresses and my Gramma said ,Carolyn now when you give a gift to someone it must always be from the best of what you have and don't ever forget that I taught you this. My mom Carolyn gave her absolute best every time. I hold this story my mom shared with me close to my heart. I love you Mom. God Bless You.
