Sorry to hear of Dans passing. I knew him from Bay Pond and ALWAYS enjoyed our conversations. I can remember him often speaking proudly of his family. I know he loved his family very much.
What a blessing to have known him.

So sorry for your loss. Although I haven't seen much family over the years I have fond memories of visiting the mink farm in Helena. Danny was closest to my age. Connie and David were older than me. Then Lorraine and Susan came along. We were much older by then and soon off we went on our separate ways. But family and memories are with us always.

I worked with Dan for twelve years preparing, making and maintaining ice for an outdoor ice rink. Dan was a great big strong man with a big heart. Even while being a hunter, one would often see Dan feeding the deer apples from his hand while the next moment discussing his hunting collection over some of his "venzon" jerky. He was also one of the most common-sense practical people I have ever met. Even most recently, we called on Dan to help us out with an equipment 'jam" which he did with great success. We will miss him. Our prayers for Dan, Julie and the rest of his family.
Requiescat in pace.

Craig and I appreciated Dan’s expertise and kindness during much of the 18 years he and Julie lived and worked on Bay Pond Park. We loved his cheery demeanor as he’d work on our property. We send our deepest sympathies to Julie and his family. With many great memories of a life well lived, Connie and Craig Weatherup

I had one conversation with Dan in my life; at the wake of my brother Eric, and that was all I needed to know of Dan's decent standup character. Condolences to my cousin Julie and their kids, family, and friends.

Growing up in Helena everybody knows everybody else. The Newtowns were close friends of the Cole’s. Growing up I got to hear many stories from my father and uncles about what a good man Danny was. When I got to know him a bit myself, I found all of that to be true. We are truly sorry for your loss. Chris & Tammy Cole
