Brasher Falls - Viola May Ballard, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her home. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
She was born on August 3, 1922 in Malone, daughter of the late William John and Minnie Hanna Gonyea Shanty. Her husband, Howard Ballard and her son, William Ballard, predeceased her.
Graveside services will be Friday at 10 am at Mound Hill Cemetery in Nicholville.
