Hello Brenda, I am saddened to hear of Tommy's demise. I went to St Lawrence Central and Canton ATI with him. We lived, just up the road from his dad's farm, on Old Market Road. I returned to the area in 2002 and am sorry I never looked him up.

Brenda and kids,
So sorry to read about Tommy's death. He was such a dear man...words are really inadequate. The way he embraced every day and the people he met along the way was such a blessing. May you be comforted by the many warm and precious memories you have and the love of family and friends.

In the words of Albert Einstein, "Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children
and the younger generation. For they are us. Our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life". He is alive in you.
We are so very sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many.

Winthrop- Tommy J. "TJ" Moulton, 70, passed away Tuesday May 29, 2012 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love and support of his family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
TJ was born on January 9, 1942 in Potsdam to the late Claude A. and Jean I. (Hunter) Moulton. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence Central, and proudly served his country in the US Air Force. On June 8, 1963, he married the former Brenda H. Turner at the West Stockholm United Methodist Church. They shared a loving devoted union for 48 years.
Tommy worked for New York Telephone, then for New Channels, and lastly as a Quality Control Inspector for Time Warner Cable; the position from which he retired in 2010.
TJ was the epitome of a people person. His thirst for knowledge was evident by his involvement in new technology and friendly socialization. He was a photographer and videographer for many events, and in 1985 he started his own disc jockey business, "TJ the DJ". He had a love for electronics; whether it being the CB radio with his handle "Bald Eagle", computers, or his automated van horn, which people responded to with friendly smiles and waves.
TJ was a member of: the Junior Grange, the Winthrop Grange, active in 4H and the FFA. He enjoyed camping, hunting, bowling, and 4-wheeling and was an avid NASCAR fan.
TJ is survived by: his wife, Brenda; his children, Kimberley and Greg Warner of Kalamazoo, MI, Becky Moulton and her companion Chris Pernice of Madrid, and Harold "Harry" Moulton and his fiancé, Loretta Louey of Malone; his grandchildren, Brett L. and Alicia Logan of Brasher Center, Marcus J. Logan and his fiancé Aleasha Hartson of Winthrop, Brianna J. and Cameron J. Warner of Kalamazoo MI; 2 great-grandchildren, Neveah Logan and Chlowie Logan, and 29 foster children.
Also surviving TJ are his siblings: Claudia Moulton of Winthrop, Ethel Moulton of Buckton, Judith and Ricky Francis of Rochester, Robert and Carole Moulton of Sandfordville, William and Jean Moulton of Jordan, UT, Richard and Sheryl Moulton of Brasher Falls, Harry and Joyce Moulton of Rennselaer Falls, James and Christine Moulton of Brasher Falls, Ray and Kathy Moulton of Winthrop, Bernard and Sharon Moulton of Lexington, VA, and Stanley and Susan Moulton of Beaver Creek, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home. TJ's Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be Saturday (June 2nd) at 2:00PM at the West Stockholm United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Barnes officiating. Burial will take place in West Stockholm Cemetery.
For those wishing to express an act of kindness, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or Center for Cancer Care at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Memories and condolences may be shared with his family at www.hammillfh.com.
