Winthrop - Jarred S. Donalis, 42, passed away unexpectedly May 12, 2013. Arrangements are entrusted with the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Jarred was born on July 12, 1970 in Potsdam, son of Stephen N. and Carol J. (Flint) Donalis. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 1988. He married the mother of his children; Jamie Malark on October 16, 1993; the marriage ended in divorce. He worked at various jobs throughout his life; lastly working at Sheehan's Quarries as a Mechanical Laborer. Jarred was an active sportsman; hunting, fishing, trapping and swimming. He was proud of his children's accomplishments and believed them to be his greatest legacy. He was a member of the St. Lawrence County Trappers Association. Jarred is survived by his two children, Hannah Donalis and Jarika Donalis, both of Massena; his mother, Carol Donalis of Winthrop; his grandmother, Joyce Flint of Winthrop; brothers and sister, Shawn and Tricia Donalis of North Lawrence, Joseph and Wanita Donalis of Winthrop and Shari Donalis of Winthrop; aunts and uncles, Cheryll and Robert Phippen of Hopkinton and Connie and Joseph Delisle of Brasher Falls; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Stephen N. Donalis. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Jarred's Celebration of Life and Funeral Service will follow at 8 pm. Burial will be in Winthrop Cemetery in Winthrop.
