She was a graduate of St. Lawrence Central School in 1957 and a 1959 graduate of Eastman Dispensary School for Dental Hygienist. She married David Stevens on August 29, 1959 in St. Lawrence Church in North Lawrence. They raised their family and lived their 53 years of marriage in the North Country.
