Thank you all so much for the nice words about my Uncle Slick. He was a very close brother to my mother and one of my favorite Uncles. I am very glad I have family members that are here to help us all through this time, and the people have all been so nice. He was a Jack of all trades, and i loved that about him.

It was so nice to read all the kind words about my uncle. It is amazing that everyone else saw him as the same way I did. My uncle was the first person to help anyone in need. He did many things for me and my father, Bruce. We both loved him very much. I am so glad I was able to see him Friday morning. He would come to my store almost everyday an order the same thing- bologna sandwich, with onions, mustard and American cheese on white breads. I will truly miss making that sandwich. I wish I gave him a hug and told him I loved him before he left that day. About two months ago, vic went to the ER for a splinter in his hand and I went with him and my dad. He kept asking the nurse for a beer. He was so funny. I loved his sense of humor. I will miss him so much. Thank you to everyone for your support and kind words. My family is one of a kind, I love you all.

I'm so sorry to hear cousin Vic passed. My heart goes out to all of you.
When I heard from Mom that Vic had passed, I started thinking about all the good times we had as kids both up North and home when you some of you would stay with us. One memory I'll never forget is Vic and I crawling on our stomachs for what seemed, at the time, to be a mile or so across one of your recently cut corn fields chasing a flock of geese. We got just in shooting range and of course they all took off on us! We were all mud and laughed all the way back to the house.
Even though I haven't seen Vic in years, I know he had a big heart, was a good man and will be dearly missed!!
Love you all, Cousin Dave

Bruce and family,
Victor was a sweet, sweet man...always there to help and always with a smile...or a smirk.
His prowess as a construction man was second to none...be it plumbing, carpentry or using heavy equipment...as was his sense of humor.
Victor was a guy you would want in your foxhole...a true "Go-To" kind of guy when there was a problem to be addressed.
Though I knew Victor for only a short period of time...I am honored to have had his friendship...his efforts to help build The Adirondack Club will always be remembered.
Rest in Peace Victor Richards...
