Constance M. Mason (born Maria Conchetta Papa) 90 of Norwood NY went on to be with her Savior and King, Jesus Christ on September 8, 2014. She was surrounded by her family and friends who loved her well. Connie was born on March 8, 1924 in Bristol CT to the late Frank and Rosa Papa. Connie is the beloved wife of Wesley A Mason. They married on July 29, 1952 cementing a bond that lasted 62 years. Connie was a home health aide, a homemaker and a mother of five. She was a valuable member of two churches; the Plymouth Congregational Church in Plymouth CT and the Knapps Station Community Church in Norwood, NY. Wesley and Connie relocated to St Lawrence County after retirement to realize their dream of owning a farm. She is pre-deceased by her son Michael Mason and her brother Joseph Papa of Bristol, CT. She is survived by her husband Wesley A Mason and her children Marsha Jenkins of MD, Anne Vitelli of CT, Wesley Mason, Jr of FL and Beth Mason of Virginia. She was the proud grandmother of two grandsons; Erin Sigouin and Jacob Boring and two granddaughters; Maria Sigouin and Jillian Boring, four great-grandsons, and two great, great-granddaughters. Calling hours begin at noon on Wednesday, September 10th at Knapps Station Community Church with service to follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Connie's name to the Knapp Station Community Church Youth Camp Fund. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the care given to Connie by her faithful friends and aids and the Hospice and Palliative Care of St Lawrence Valley.
