Obituary of Michael James Poole

Winthrop— Michael James Poole, 16, of County Route 51, died unexpectedly September 9, 2014. He was a junior at St. Lawrence Central and the son of Mary Durham Poole of Winthrop and Steven Michael Poole of Potsdam. A memorial service will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, May Rd. Potsdam on Sept. 20th, at 1:00 pm. With Rev. Brian Argo officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home, Winthrop In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Rachell; a brother, Judson; paternal grandparents, Thomas & Josephine Poole of Florida; maternal grandparents, Judson & Clemis Durham of Russell and a several aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was born November 27, 1997 in Nashua, NH. He was a Korean Registered Black Belt in World Tae Kwan Do, enjoyed social media, like Facebook and loved playing Xbox, Playstation and Wii.
