She was also blessed with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins, who will miss her dearly.
She is predeceased by her father Donald Stone and her brother Dale Stone.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Sharon's funeral service will be celebrated at Friday at 10 am at Lawrenceville Baptist Chapel in North Lawrence. Graveside services will be held in the spring at St. Patrick cemetery in Brasher Falls.

I was sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She was a very nice woman, and I thought a lot of her. We used to speak often at the Louisville Housing, at Mike Curran's apartment. I lived across the hall, and often spoke to Gary as well. She was a very caring woman, and will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Sharon was a wonderful person and a dear friend. We are happy to have shared many memories with her during her lifetime. We enjoyed Eastern Star together. We have traveled together to Hogansburg for dinner and gambling, Arkansas road trip to see Hot Springs,Little Rock,Ft. Smith,Branson Missouri,St. Louis Missouri,Springfield Missouri. Warrensburg(Yes even in the rain). Many trips to Adirondack Mountains and wonderful meals in Lake Placid just to name a few. Even playing cards and visiting at her Kitchen table. She had a wonderful spirit and enjoyed her faith with God and friends and will be missed by us. In her last days while visiting with her in the hospital she was at peace to continue in her next journey to see friends and family who have gone before her. She seemed to know that Gary will miss her but knew that friends and family would take are of him. In our hearts we know that God would take care of her. We miss you Sharon you have touched our hearts forever....<3 <3

Dearest Friends: I am so saddened to hear of Sharon's passing. She was such an endearing soul. She was fun loving, and kindhearted. It was no surprise to me to hear that she had chosen to help others in a field near and dear to my heart, caring for people. We had been friends since Kindergarten. We noticed each other immediately because we were wearing the same green dresses, with this green and white checked fabric with lace-up waist. That always brought a smile to our faces when one or both of us wore THE DRESS. And even years later, it was a private joke between us that brought smiles to one another's faces. We enjoyed each other's company, and singing in the choir at church. I can remember inviting Sharon and her family to church when we had a Turtle/Hare competition for Sunday School. I was on the Turtle Team...we won. Sharon, you'll be sorely missed. Our Savior, and Lord Jesus has said to you, "Well done thou good and faithful servant." You rest now, Sharon. I love you all.
