Jan was my BFF since we were 16 yrs old. I was part of the family. Jan, was like a sister. Even as time passed we kept in touch. Our families 'grew together; visited, talked on the phone sometimes for hours. We shared our children's births, pictures, and their adventures in life. Our children become close, especially Kay and Terri; part of an extended family for each other. Her family was always first and foremost in her life. She will be remembered as a beautiful person, inside and out. She cared about others, often the first one willing to help. Although she is no longer physically here for you; remember she is one of God's special angels, always beside you, until you are all together again. Dale, I am so sorry for the loss of your wife and Sole Mate; and girls for the loss of your wonderful mother. She has not left you, but moved on to a higher place where she can watch over and guide all of you. If you ever need to talk, please call.(Kay has my number).

I was both shocked and saddened when reading of Janet's death. We spent time together as children...we were cousins. I have fond memories of her parents' home in Winthrop....playing while the grown ups played cards and drank coffee. I reconnected with janet when she was a patient at mmh as I worked there. We had many conversations and I truly enjoyed her sense of humor and laughter. Please accept my sincere sympathy. Please hold close your memories...your mother sure had lots of them.

Dale, Karen & Kay along with the rest of the family...Jan will be surely be missed by many. She was like another mother to me even though I was only a rift raft from down the road.
