Winthrop - Nancy M. Tucker, 66, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC. Arrangements are entrusted with the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Nancy was born on August 29, 1948, daughter of the late Harry and Melba (Bush) Bullock. She graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School on June 25, 1968 and in August; she went to work at Clarkson College, staying until her retirement on November 10, 2009. On November 12, 1983, Nancy married Richard E. Tucker, Sr., sharing a devoted union until his passing on November 20, 1993. She has lived in North Carolina for the past six years to be by her son, daughter in law and granddaughter. Surviving Nancy is her son and his wife, James and Jennifer Tucker of Youngsville, NC; her granddaughter, Madison Tucker of Youngsville, NC; step-children, Kathleen Monette of Hannawa Falls, Joanne Ryan of Brasher Falls, Richard and Sharon Tucker, Jr. of Sandfordville, Diane Tucker of Utah; her siblings, Betty and William Durgan of Massena, Gloria and William Akins of Ogdensburg, Sheila and James Richards of Parishville, Gene and Sue Bullock of Norfolk, sister in law, Ruth Bullock of Norfolk; 11 step-grandchildren, Tina and Richard Shatraw, William and Patricia Monette, Raymond and Dawn Monette, Jennifer Sullivan, Larry and Lynn Ryan, Christopher Ryan, Richard Tucker, Stephen Tucker, Diantha and Jason Johnson, Trudy Thomas, and Larry and Vanity Hubbard; 31 step-great grandchildren; 16 step great great grandchildren, a brother in law, 3 sisters in law, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Herbert, Harry and Duane, 2 sisters, Irene and Joyce, and a step daughter, Karen Sullivan. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
