Baby,I miss you so much. My heart is shattered in a way that will never be healed.I never ever doubted the love you had for me and the kids and I know if there was any way you could have changed the ending of our love story,you would have.I would give anything right now to change it too. It is hard to say goodbye Doug....I have known you for 28 years, during those years my interactions with you were unbelievable. You helped me so much and when I phoned and asked to speak to you, you always took the call and you never said to me "No", you always accommodated my needs to help children. You got me the catheters i need or stents I want.
Doug: the work you did to help thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of children all over the world is enough to grant you the best reward....God's love and mercy. You are an angel that God made us meet and what a journey.
We will miss you Doug....year in and year out, you and the Towers come to the PICS meeting and your corner was always the best corner....
I will miss you and miss your great personality and your enthusiasm.

Doug is remembered as the best of us all. It didn't matter what type of day you were having at work that man made the best of it all the time.
