Massena - Marie Ann Searles, 78, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Marie was born in Washington, DC on July 27, 1937, daughter of the late Bernard and Marie (Mealey) Nolan. She married Lyndon L. Searles on March 17, 1961 in Maryland. They shared a loving union for 34 until Lyndon passed away on May 28, 1996. Surviving Marie are her children, Kevin (Michelle) Searles of Pulaski and Lyndon Searles of Tampa, FL, Donna (Jay) Schoelermann of South Glens Falls, and her son in law, Robert Clark Sr. of Newport, grandchildren, Robert (Stacey) Clark, Jr, Perry (Sarah) Clark, Amber Clark, Ashlee (Richard) Burton, Noah Schoelermann, Kevin Searles, Jr., Cody Searles, John Searles, and Jacob Searles, one sister, Catherine Glancy of Towson, MD, many nieces, nephews and extended family. Marie was predeceased by her husband, a daughter, Monica Clark, her twin brother, John Nolan and brothers, Bernie Nolan and Mike Nolan. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie will be Wednesday at 10 am at St. Patrick Church in Brasher Falls with burial in the parish cemetery.
