Linda, and all (of course):
I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. I have very happy memories of her from when we were kids. I see you and Helen live VERY close to me - I am in Eugene, Oregon!! My phone number is 541-954-2464. I would love to hear from you, Linda - you are less than 500 miles away! I do, of course, wish God's blessings and gifts to you and the family. With all my love.

I remember Alda having known her for so much of my life and she was a wonderful grandma to my sons. They spent much time with her and liked to walk to her house all by themselves. We had good visits up at the river when on vacation which was almost every year. I am happy she was active and still vital and always interested in her grandchildren. I have a wonderful voice message from her asking about our little Frida, my son and her grandson Erik's daughter who she met at the river when Frida was 8 months old. I will cherish her voice always. with love and peace to all in my Hibbert family. Teri

To Mrs Hibbert's entire family, please accept my deepest sympathy on her passing. She is a person that if you knew her , you instantly liked her and she made you feel liked by her. I can't honestly think of a better example of such a relationship I've ever had. I don't think she ever forgot you or your name after she 1st met you.

I remember meeting Alda at a family event in Liverpool when I first came to the Hibbert family. She was so kind and had this great energy around her that made me feel so comfortable. I really enjoyed talking to her and every time there was an event in Liverpool I looked forward to seeing her. On earth she will be so missed, but comfort can be taken that she is with the Lord she loved so much. So sorry for the loss of your mother.

Dear Alda,
You will be missed for a very long time. Thank you for your gifts to the world; your children, who will carry on your love and light and mission. It was a pleasure to get to know you, look at old photos with you, and hear the stories that accompanied them. You are a white candle in a Holy Place.
Your Yoncalla neighbor,
Mary Kelley

I am blessed to have grown up in the "neighborhood" with Linda. I have fond memories of talks in the kitchen with your mom and dad. I will always remember your mom smiling as we banged through the door looking for food, drinks, or just a place to land. She was always so interested in what we were up to and how we were doing. May you all find comfort knowing that your mom, and of course your dad, were loved by many. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My condolences to all of you. You are an amazing family and I feel very fortunate to have warm memories of your mom I can hold close. Hugs to all of you.
