St. Regis Falls - Patricia A. Boulds, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls. Pat was born on April 8, 1928 in St. Regis Falls, daughter of the late Vernon "Dutch" and Mary (Hannay) Parks and graduated from St. Regis Falls High School. On August 28, 1946, she married Elvin Boulds, Jr. with whom she shared nearly 70 years, blessed with mutual love, support and understanding. These qualities enabled them to operate Boulds' Garage together and excelled them to be caring parents. Pat's maternal nature showed as she cared for her husband, children and grandchildren, making her a great role model. Her warm smile, hospitality, generosity and respect for others, made a great impression on people. She loved to cook and made sure you never left hungry or without trying her brownies. Her family reflected on her 3-legged chairs, her ability to assist as a personal shopper, and the love that she passed on to her children and grandchildren will remain in their hearts and minds forever. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Nicholville and she was on the Planning and Executive Boards of the Riverview Housing in St. Regis Falls. Pat is survived by her husband, Elvin; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Gale Susice of St. Regis Falls, her daughter-in-law, Donna Boulds; six grandchildren, Julia Rockhill, Amy Boulds, Vicki Boulds, Steven Boulds, Hannah and James Haddix and Hilary McLaughlin and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 4 at the Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls with her funeral service commencing at 4pm. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Nicholville.
