Diane,
My father just told me this morning that Art had passed away. I knew him when I was a student at Potsdam Central School and again later when I needed to reserve a school bus through the bus garage for a field trip. I met him a few times, he was always so friendly, kind and down to earth. I am sorry for your loss. *Hugs*

Diane, Although I've never met you I wanted to express my sorrow for your loss. I went to school with Art. He was such a nice guy, Joan and I were in the same class.
I lost my husband 3 years ago. It's not easy, but I have to think that they are at peace.
Please give my regards to you family.

Diane and family; Marilynn and I offer our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of Art. Art was a friend and great neighbor to us when we had our camp on Morgan Road. He was always available when called upon to help us out during the opening or closing of our camp, or anytime we called. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits when we drove down the camp road and he was out working. You and your family, and Art are in our prayers. Dick and Marilynn Lane

To Diane and all Family members
Art was one of the greatest men I knew and respected. I stopped by his office at PCS many times as a bus driver for Canton. If I had a bus problem he always helped out with no hesitation, but he also took time to chat. I am so sorry for his loss.
To Don, Sue, Mike and Dawn - I remember each of you fondly on daily bus rides to CCS. You each were among the best students to ride the buses I drove. I sincerely hope our paths can cross again.
My best to each of you. Dave

My Dear friend Diane and family, I am so saddened by your loss, my heart goes out to all of you. It is so unfair that he was taken from you so soon, that terrible disease knows no boundaries... From the first time I met Art, I always thought he was one of the nicest, kindest and most true gentlemen I have ever met. Always with a smile and kind word. I was so happy that you and Art were sharing your lives and I know he loved your children and grandchildren so much.. Much love to you my friend..

Diane and family,
There are no words to express the sorrow we feel over the loss of Art. He was such a caring, kind, and wonderful person. We are forever indebted to him and you for all the things done for us at camp. Whenever we had a problem, you and Art were there, like magic, to help Our one salvation is remembering all the happy times from sitting on the front porch talking, to swimming at the boat ramp, to sitting around the campfire, and also those here in Myrtle Beach. We love you and will see you soon. Until then, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Diane and family: I'm upset to hear of Art's passing. What a great guy he was. I had known Art as a student at Potsdam, where I'm sure I contributed to a grey hair or two, and then as a friend after school. He always had a smile on his face and was always up for a good natured ribbing! Art was a good family man and will surely be missed. If any of you need anything, please let me know. -Dan
