North Lawrence - Theresa A. Huff, 80, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening (April 3, 2016) at Canton Potsdam Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home. Following Theresa's wishes; private services will be held graveside for her family. Theresa was born on June 13, 1935 in Lawrenceville, daughter of the late John W. and Myrtle (Lindsay) Russell. She graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 1952. On January 16, 1954, she married Robert K. Huff at St. Lawrence Church in North Lawrence with Fr. O'Connell celebrating. They shared a loving union of 46 years until his passing on July 21, 2000. She will be buried next to her Robert in Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, SC. For 20 years, Theresa was a cook at Clarkson College and while she lived in South Carolina she was a manager for the Stop & Shop in West Columbia for 12 years. She retired in 2008. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Church in Lexington, SC and Church of the Holy Cross in Hopkinton and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Societies in both churches. Theresa was a member of the North Lawrence Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and a member of the Tri Town Senior Citizens. Theresa is survived by four children, Cheryl LaBar of North Lawrence, Cathy Woodward and companion, Terry Truax of Winthrop, Robert and Nancy Huff, Jr. of Munson, MA and Steven and Tess Huff of Enfield, CT; seven grandchildren, Lisa Greenwood, Michael LaBar, Tesha LaFlesh, Joshua Huff, Brianna Huff, Emily Huff and Nathan Woodward; seven great grandchildren, Haven LaBar, Christine LaBar, Reese Woodward, Raegan Woodward, Kiersten Greenwood, Austin Greenwood and Jason Huff; three great great grandchildren, Nataleigh Gonyea, Landon Gonyea and Savannah Chambers.
