After I read about Darcy's recent death after just 48 short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for Bethany, Emily, Stacy and the Sochia family and friends. I know Darcy has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. I'm shocked and sorry to hear of Darcy's abrupt passing. We barely knew each other as adults, although the miracle of facebook did at least allow us to reconnect superficially. What I remember most are hours playing in the cow pastures all around the farm. Some of my most magical childhood memories were spent with Darcy. We were still small enough to wander in the briar bushes and we had so many stories of the paths we 'found' that had been made by the cows. I don't remember the stories, but I remember the fun. My heart goes out to the entire family.

I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Darcy. He will be truly missed by so many from near and far. He was a fun and wild soul never knew what he would say next. I personally knew him since he was around 11 years old. I can remember back when him and his mother lived on the bend in West Potsdam next to the Sanfords farm. He was even a little on the wild side back then. I have so many memories of him. i am so lucky i got to know him so many years ago. His love of life. His love of nature. His love of Potsdam. So many of us got so lucky that we had him past through so many of our lives. God speed my friend til we meet again....millions of hugs sent the familys way and darcys way. :(
