So long, Old Timer. You were a great father and I'm grateful for the way you raised me. All those who turned out to see you off emphasized what I already knew to be true. You were a man who genuinely cared about other people.

Dear Mrs. McGreevy and family,
My thoughts are with all of you in this difficult time. Coach had such and impact on so many peoples lives. I was just one of the lucky few, he was my first football coach in Pop Warner as well as one of my Varsity football coach, up until he retired from coaching I believe. I also got to spend time with him when he helped coach our Little League team. Needless to say I have a lot of fond memories of him on the sports fields.I hope knowing how important he was to the community makes your loss slightly easier to bare.
Sincerely,
Jason Fountain

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. He was one of my favorite teachers and so full of humor and kindness. He was so passionate about history and was able to share that passion with his students. I have always thought of him fondly through the years. He has certainly earned a special place in the hearts of so many.

I am greatly saddened to hear that Mr. McGreevy has passed.... I remember him as very quiet, some what shy back in the mid-60's... And one year he joined the Minstrel Show at St. Patrick's with Rake LaFave and so many others for entertaining the community... What a wonderful time that was. My deepest condolences to you, his family at this great loss to the community.... to you.
