Obituary of Carol W. Flint
Brasher Falls- Carol Williams Flint, 72, passed away 2 days shy of her birthday on Thursday December 21, 2017 at the RiverLedge Health Care in Ogdensburg after her courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.
Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
Carol was born in Potsdam on December 23, 1944, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Foster) Williams. She was a graduate of Potsdam Central School and a retiree of Aramark Food Service at Clarkson University. Carol was a former resident of LBSH in Brasher Falls. She was a member of the Quad Town Senior Citizens, an avid card player, loved bowling and bingo and loved to travel.
She is survived by four children: James (Tiffany) Bartlett, Hammond, JoAnn (Joe) Gilbo, Norwood, Kimberley Bertrand, Plattsburgh, and Debra (Chris) Wood, Lexington, NC; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Carol is also survived by three brothers: Robert (Judy) Williams, Winder, GA., Ronald (Betty) Williams, Seminole, FL., and Wayne (Marlene) Williams, Potsdam; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was an active member of the West Stockholm United Methodist Church where Carol's services and Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, Saturday December 23, 2017. Calling hours will be at the Church from 10 am- 12 noon, with her funeral service beginning at 12 noon, followed by burial in West Stockholm Cemetery. Her family respectfully invites family and friends to join them for a reception immediately following Carol's services at the West Stockholm Church.
