Obituary of Penny S. Cruz

Massena – Penny S. Cruz, 59, passed away peacefully Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.  Arrangements are entrusted with the Hammill Funeral home in Winthrop.

Penny was born on April 16, 1959 in Massena, daughter of the late Lawrence and Fannie (Warriner) Villnave. 

She was the cook at the Madrid Hometown Café for many years.  She is survived by her sister, Linda Villnave of Massena, her brother and sister in law, Kaylene Villnave of Massena, her companion, James Martin of Watertown, many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Christopher Villnave on October 20, 2008.

Graveside services for Penny will be Tuesday at 11:30am in St. Lawrence Cemetery in North Lawrence with Fr. Garry Giroux officiating.
