Obituary of Warren A. Gibson
WEST STOCKHOLM --- Warren Gibson, 82-years-old, of Churchville, NY, formerly of West Stockholm, NY, passed away during a brief illness on June 17, 2019.
Warren was born on May 28, 1937 in Potsdam, son of the late Warren W. and Elizabeth (Montle) Gibson. He was an Air Force Veteran and had retired from Lightin Co.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 59 years, Helen (Dashnaw) Gibson; 3 children, Leon Gibson, Cindy (Gibson) French, Tracy(Gibson) Behnke, son-in-law, Dave Behnke; 7 grandchildren; Katie French, Kim Plater, Steven Palermno, Joey Sheldon, Leah Hotte, Travis Smallwood and Savannah Gibson; three sisters, Mary Lunderman of Winthrop, Fern Austin of West Parishville and Marion Russell of Hewittville; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Gloria Jenks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Potsdam VFW or Honor Flight of Rochester, NY.
Graveside services will be held at a later time.
