Obituary of Christopher M. Jock
Moira/Brushton – Christopher M. Jock, 45, passed away Tuesday morning, June 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. In keeping with Chris’ wishes, there will be no public visitation. His family will honor and commemorate his life privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
Christopher was born on July 12, 1973 in Malone, son of Ronald and Cheryl (Armstrong) Jock. He grew up in Moira and graduated from Brushton-Moira High School. On July 17, 1993, he married Lynn LaBrake in Brasher Falls, sharing 25 years of love and devotion and a blessing of two beautiful children.
Chris worked for Smiths Lumber, Wards Lumber and at Tessiers Plumbing in North Lawrence. He was a electrician by trade. He enjoyed photography, tracking the weather and watching storms, NASCAR and Demolition Derby’s. His favorite saying was “Smile More!”
He is survived by his wife, Lynn, his two children; Mercedes and Kaleb Davis of Oklahoma City, OK, and Brandon Jock and his girlfriend Jessica Eakins of Potsdam, his grandson, Jax Davis, his parents, Ronald and Cheryl Jock of Brushton, two brothers Joshua and Heather Jock of Plattsburgh and Nicholas Jock of Brushton, his mother and father-in-law, Gary and Jennie LaBrake, Eric and Jamie LaBrake, April LaBrake, and Jamie Bobb and a special Aunt Ann Robbins, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
