North Lawrence – Ferina M. Bridges, 82, passed away Friday evening, January 17, 2020, at Massena Rehab and Nursing Facility. Following her wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
Born on August 5, 1937 in Lake Wales, Florida, Ferina is the daughter of the late Albert and Jennie (Goosby) Cherry. She worked for NYS doing social work and cooking at the Warwick School for Boys at the Goshen Annex in Warwick. She married Lester Bridges on September 6, 1974. Together they moved to North Lawrence five years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Lester, one son, Michael and Roxanne Bridges of North Lawrence. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice.
