Mrs. Opal, I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Opal was a dear friend of my grandfather and I have many memories of him coming to visit with him while I spent my summer days at my grandparents house in Hopkinton. He was one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Cheryl and Mike jr. I am so sorry for your loss. Mike fought hard and for many years. I have so many memories of him as a patient and friend. One of my favorites was the day Mike jr. was born. Here was this man that fought so stongly through so much and then ne melted into butter when he saw his baby boy. Cheryl he often said he wouldn't have survived anything without you, you were his rock, strength and kicked him in the butt when needed and he loved you so much. I like to think the "pollock" is raising heck in Heaven right now. Hugs and love Cheryl and Mike jr. God bless.

Cheryl, your Mike was one of a kind. He holds a special place in my heart. He was such a warrior and never complained. Every now and then he would send me a message checking in on me, when he himself was in the hospital or having a bad day. I remember the good ole days of working at Greg and Molly’s and he would come in with a smile on his face and friendly “hello.” He was a gem!! I pray he rests in peace and that he knew what an incredible human being he was. Truly sorry for your loss.

I have so many fond memories of Mike I would not know where to start..I have known him for about 53 years...lost touch for a while but found him again when my dad passed and since then we became best friends..I will miss my.little pollock buddy more than anyone can imagine, we did so many things together and as a family with my wife kay and my children and grand children and Mike and cheryl and michael..to many to list but I am sad to see him go but also know his pain and suffering are now over and he is with his mom and dad and several old friends that he will reunite with and play pitch once again...you will be greatly missed by me and a great void has been created where you once stood...always in my heart my best friend...Rest in peace Mikey...my honey..love you my brother by a different mother.....God Bless
