Moravia – Jeffrey A. Wakefield, 64, passed away unexpectedly, June 5th, 2020 at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.
On November 23, 1955 in Medina, Jeffrey was born to Milford and Shirley (Helsdon) Wakefield. He found the love of his life, Wanda LaClair and shared their lives together for 35 years and on April 26, 2014 they married in Auburn. He was a Quality Control Inspector at NuCor in Auburn.
He enjoyed all sports with the Buffalo Bills being his favorite. He liked to fish, camp and enjoyed listening to classic rock music. He also loved spending time with family and always looked forward to family vacations.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Wanda, his three sons Lee (Kyla) Wakefield of Groton,Chad (Danielle) Wakefield of Seymour, Tennessee , and Chase (Kassie) Wakefield of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina , six grandchildren, Kataleah, Kameron, Silas, Riley, Cameron and one grandson on the way, three brothers, Greg Wakefield (his twin), Kent Wakefield and his fiancé, Julie, Gary and Sandy Wakefield, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
