Shara, Cody, and Bill: It is hard to comprehend that such a beautiful, kind woman would be taken from us. She never uttered an unkind word about anyone. Even though our lives took separate paths, we always laughed when we happened to meet. I never forgot Denise and the good times we had lunching in the park and redecorating my house. Rest in Peace, Dear Angel.

I have only known Denise for the past year or so. I was her Aflac agent. She was the nicest person and always very grateful for any assistance I provided. Denise always was the voice saying “St. Lawrence County Planning Office, this is Denise , how can I help you.” For the dozen or more years I had the privilege of knowing and laughing with Denise, she always was helpful, polished and professional. She was a charmer and wicked funny as well. Years ago, at the end of some mundane call about local planning I casually said, “why don’t you and I just run away together.” She laughed at the foolishness of my question. Weeks later, having completely forgotten about my awkward overture I called looking for Keith and without missing a beat after the routine “.......This is Denise, how can I help you” she recognized my voice and in a not to be messed with semi indignant voice said “hey, you said we were running away together but you left me sitting on my suitcase in the parking lot, what happened?” Needless to say, I snorted!
Friend, fellow traveler, I’ll miss you sweet Denise. Rest In Peace.

There are some people you truly enjoy working with and Denise was one of those ladies! She Always had a smile, great attitude and was willing to help when needed. You don’t see those qualities in everyone but it certainly made me happy to see her name pop up on caller id at the Courthouse! My condolences to the family as I can’t imagine the hole it surely leaves in the lives of those she loved! She was a beautiful person!

Bill, Shara and boys, Cody,Doris and Brenda...My heart is broken for everyone who knew and loved Denise. We became fast friends when we worked together before Shara was born. She was one of the few friends that I could call or message and we could pick up right where we had left off...even if life had gotten busy and it had been a while. I am so glad I got to see her in person right before the pandemic. As typical Denise, she was more worried about Bill and her children than herself. I am sure she is with her Dad and Grandmother.. pain free and smiling that infectious smile with those bright blue eyes.
