Obituary of Susan A. Goodrow

Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Susan Ann Goodrow 1948-2020 There aren’t words to express how many lives and hearts Susan touched, she worked every day to improve the lives and circumstances of those around her; she will be deeply missed and never forgotten and the world is poorer for her loss. She was a strong, stubborn, kind, hardworking, self-sacrificing, beautiful soul, a “Jane of all trades” she cared deeply for others. Susan is survived by Todd Richards her husband of 27 years, her daughter Amanda Gribben-Gleason (Jamie), her granddaughters Caoimhe and Tobaira, her brothers “Butch” (Laurie) and Kent (Denise) and their families. A native New Yorker, Susan passed away at home on June 26, 2020. Susan graduated from SUNY Plattsburg, became a teacher then moved on to a career in Social Work helping children and families with true passion. Susan was a gardener with a deep tie to nature, a painter and an avid reader. Susans graveside service will be held Friday July 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Mound Hill Cemetery in Nicholville. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Regis Falls Adult Center or the St. Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department would reflect Susan’s wishes.
